Hajr is a digital wellness application designed to help users manage their screen time by blocking access to distracting applications and websites during focus sessions. The App utilizes iOS Screen Time framework to provide these blocking capabilities.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the App.

4. User Accounts and Responsibilities

4.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any account information. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to circumvent or disable the App's blocking functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App in a manner that could damage or impair the service
  • Share or distribute the App outside of official App Store channels

5. Privacy and Data Collection

5.1 Data Storage

All personal data is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal usage data to our servers.

5.2 Anonymous Analytics and Crash Reporting

We collect anonymous usage analytics and crash reports to improve the App experience and maintain stability. This includes:

  • Usage analytics through PostHog (an open-source analytics platform)
  • Crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics
  • Subscription data through RevenueCat

5.3 Screen Time Integration

The App requires Screen Time permissions to function. Your Screen Time data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Subscription Terms

  • Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

6.2 Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple Account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial periods

6.3 Free Trial

  • Free trials, if offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled
  • You must cancel before the trial period ends to avoid charges

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Rights

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Hajr and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

7.2 Your Rights

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations

8.1 Service Availability

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • App functionality depends on iOS Screen Time framework availability

8.2 Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Hajr be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use.

8.3 Digital Wellness

While the App is designed to promote healthy digital habits, individual results may vary. The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment for technology addiction.

9. Updates and Modifications

9.1 App Updates

We may update the App from time to time to add features, improve performance, or fix bugs. Some updates may be required for continued use.

9.2 Terms Updates

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
