How to turn off auto-renew

The steps are the same on a phone and on a computer, because OnlyFans has no App Store or Google Play app and runs in a web browser.

  1. Sign in to OnlyFans.
  2. Open your subscriptions. Go to your profile menu and find the list of creators you are subscribed to, or open the creator's profile directly.
  3. Find the subscription button or auto-renew setting on that creator's profile. It shows that you are subscribed and whether auto-renew is on.
  4. Turn auto-renew off and confirm.
  5. Check it stuck. Reload the page and confirm auto-renew still shows as off. Note the date your access ends.
  6. Repeat for every creator in your subscriptions list, including free ones and free trials. A trial can renew at the full price.

OnlyFans changes its menus from time to time, and the labels may differ slightly from these. The setting you are looking for is always the auto-renew control on the creator's subscription. If you cannot find it in a phone browser, try a desktop browser.

What happens after you cancel

  • You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. After that, the creator's locked content and paid messages are no longer available to you.
  • No more subscription charges for that creator, unless you subscribe again.
  • Other spending is separate. Pay-per-view posts, paid messages and tips were never part of the subscription, so cancelling does not affect what has already been paid. It does mean you are no longer shown the feed they come through.
  • Messages from the creator may keep arriving while your access runs out, and some will try to bring you back. If you are cancelling because you want to stop, not just to save money, plan for that.

Will I get a refund?

Probably not for the current period. Cancelling stops future billing. It does not reverse a payment already made, and access runs until the end of the period instead.

OnlyFans' terms describe unused wallet credits as non-refundable. If you have a wallet balance, do not load more.

If you see a charge you did not make, or one taken after you cancelled, that is different. Contact OnlyFans support, and tell your bank straight away (see below).

Remove your card

Turning off auto-renew does not remove your saved card. With a card saved, subscribing again is one tap.

Go to your account's payment or card settings and remove it. If the platform asks you to keep a card on file for an active purchase, remove it once your subscriptions have run out.

If a charge keeps going through

If a subscription keeps charging after you turned auto-renew off, or you cannot get into the account to cancel, your bank or card provider can help.

  • Card payments: tell your card provider you have cancelled and ask them to block further payments to that merchant. Many card apps let you do this yourself.

  • Unauthorised charges: report them to your bank quickly. How quickly you report affects your rights to get the money back.

Cancel, or delete the account?

If you are cancelling to cut costs, cancelling is enough.

If you are cancelling because you want to stop, consider deleting the account. It ends every subscription at once. And a deleted account means a sign-up form, not a single tap, stands between you and the next time.
